Problem Solving
- Problem Solving Process Incorporates All Type Aspects: Bill Huitt describes a decision-making process that incorporates all aspects of type: E, I, S, N, F, T, P and J, in his article Problem Solving and Decision Making: Consideration of Individual Differences Using the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator. This is more than the Z method discussed by Isabel Briggs Myers in Gifts Differing (Buy it at Amazon), which suggests using the functions in this order: S, N, T and F. Huitt also includes the E-I and P-J dichotomies. He discusses the particular problem-solving methods that seem most congenial to each function, attitude and orientation, summarized in easy-to-read tables.
